How can I display a non-standard size ad? For example 160x60.

    Tomek,

We have an add-on plugin that will allow you to customize the sizes to your liking. It's attached to the original post under the last paragraph. See the link that says "adsanity-size-filter.php.zip".

    thanks!

As per your previous response to Tomek, I dl'd the additional plugin which changes the sizes, but it doesn't appear to provide a custom ad size option. Where do I access this?

    Luke,

Once you download the add-on plugin, you will need to edit the plugin file to include your default sizes. This add-on does not currently have a user interface.

    thanks!

    Hi,

I have downloaded the file above. Extracted the file added in my desired sizes.

Please advise where the file must now be uploaded to? I have checked wp-content -> plugin ->Adsanity but cant seem to find a matching file?

    Thanks

    Daryl,

You would upload the file into the wp-content/plugins directory then activate it.

    thanks!

    Hi Brandon,

I did that but I actually dont want to replace the current plugin.

Is it possible to add just the 1 size to my current version?

    Daryl,

This add-on plugin sits alongside AdSanity. There are two options in the plugin.

    1. You can completely replace our default sizes with your own.
    2. You can add one or many of your own sides to our defaults.

The plugin is documented pretty clearly, so it should make sense what you need to do. If you have any questions once you take a look at it, please submit a support request and we'll help you out.

    thanks!

    i successfully added a default size ( 150x150 )

my widget column is plenty wide. ( 340 )

i set ad sanity columns to 2

but the banners are stacking on top of each other... instead of side by side.

    how do i fix?

AdSanity ships with some default CSS that covers common scenarios for the ads that we ship with. Since you're adding a custom size, you'll have to add your own CSS to handle the columns. Something like the following should work:

    .widget.adsanity-group .ad-150x150 { float: left; }

    .widget.adsanity-group .ad-150x150.column-1 { clear: both; margin-right: 20px; }

    hi brandon,

    your instruction worked nicely.

but now, when linking off of the banner, it sends me to 404 error. ( even with proper URL inserted )

    thanks

Try saving your permalink settings. You don't have to change anything, just re-save them.

    hold the phone !

seems like i fixed the issue of banner linking to 404 error:

i updated permalinks, cleared caches, and said a short prayer.

not sure which tactic worked....but there ya go.

good thing i watch the DRAD CAST !
